Topic: GUI on E-Smith (and fun with bloat)

The more I use e-smith, the more I like it.  This really is an awsome product.

I also know one of the things that makes the distribution "good" is the lack thrills and bloat, but... I'm increasingly tempted to install XFree, a lightweight GUI, gcc, and a few other tid bits, and turning it into something of a psuedo-workstation / server.  

Every now and then we get short a workstation, and the e-smith is just sitting there, and, well, I, I ... am having a hard time resisting slapping a GUI on the thing.

I know its wrong, but the temptation - so hard to resist.  Has anyone else here bloated up their e-smiths?  If so, I'd like to hear how it worked out.
