Yup don't use it - it is very messy and requires alot of time. I found a fax server called fax2send (www.fax2send.com). really easy to install and setup (it's free though). Also I decided to put it on a seperate server to e-smith!

We tried for days to get hylafax working for in/out going faxes, but no joy.
Tried the demo of fax2send and had it working in about 15 minutes!  We have since upgraded to a 12 user license (120 UK£) and it works great!  The image viewer can be configured to use acrobat (v4 recommended for multipage faxes, v5 has an error on trying to read multipages).  We save incoming faxes as pdf's in each project directory which everyone on the lan can access and view/refax/email as appropriate.  Whilst I would like a "free" program, the unsuccessful installation cost me about 300UK£ in wages.  120 UK£ for a successful installation was well worth the investment.

My next task is to link up a centralised addressbook.

If anybody else has used fax2send I would appreciate any handy hints for finetuning.
