Hi all, if anybody knows how to set up apache so as when I type in
"www.mail.abc.com.au" or thereabout it goes to the webmail site.
We have an off site web server so this pc only does email. It would make  it easier for the admin type people at my office.Any help appreciated.
Thanks Kark

Sounds like a little port forwarding is in order.  Can't help other than give you some direction to look.

Sorry

Sorry for the confusing letter, I was half asleep. What I really want to know is can you make the default www - home page default straight to the webmail page. The info you sent was a great start and thankyou. Karl

you can also make a web page to put in the default web site to forward users to the web interface in a certain time. In your case 1 - 5 seconds would be fine

I am not sure if it will display fine here, but if not email me and I will send it to you direct.

well it is not all there, but just needs the opening and closing html tags.

and remove the extra closing body tag that phorum generated

actually looking at it again it looks quite wierd.
try this,  I wish Phorum let you preview your post before it finished.
