i haven't needed to learn anything about ftp it always just worked. I can't recall if i've had ftp working to my e-smith after the 4.01 upgrade. these are local transfers
external transfers work fine
i have the problem with different clients and platforms
i can download from my stephen directory but get the
503 No PORT command issued first. when i try to upload
perhaps the 550 /users/stephen/home/packages.rpm: No such file or directory is a hint
