Maybe I'm missing something but I can't find the info I need. I've read the user guide to no avail.
On a 4.1 system I want to run Web and Pop servers for internal network use only. Also I'll run Samba - again internal only. No FTP server required either inside or out.
I also want to provide IP Masquerading for users to access various services outside. I don't want any server of any kind to be visible or even detectable from the internet. Nada.
I'll go get email using fetchmail so no externaly visible smtp, I have no need to publish web pages or anything else.
It looks to me like at least the web, mail and pop servers are configured for external access as the default. Is that correct? If so - how best to disable? I've been looking for IPchains config files but can't find any - is that where the answer lies?
