Topic: ADSL in the UK

Here in the UK, British Telecom (The biggest hindrance to advancements in technology), supply USB connected ADSL Modems.
(They do provide Ethernet ADSL modems, but charge an extra £110 installation fee and £60 per month extra access fee !!!!.

Is there any current, future, possibility of e-smith supporting such devices ?

Hope someone has some insight.
