Has anyone been able to use the IDE hot rod RAID controllers from Abit using the HPT 370 chipset? It is not possible to do the install with multiple errors comming up in the anaconda script.
Sorry that this topic comes up again but we are trying oall our efforts to get the HPT 370 chip seen durning the install process, with no success. Some information will be most appreciated on the kernel update process if possible.
Any kernel gurus out there who can indicate how to use a newer kernel to install a already prepared anaconda script please speak up. Basicalle we know that the kernel 2.2.17xx can see and use this IDE RAID (HPT 370) chip from highpoint technologies. there are also the .o files available for patching the kernel but we have no idea how to do that.
