is there a documentation or a way i can get information of e-smith's specific perl functions that were written by the nice ppl from e-smith?

any help would be grealy appreaciated.

Sure. Just view the source code, under /sbin/e-smith, and /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/esmith.

The next version of e-smith-lib we put out will also include POD documentation, so you will be able to do, for instance, "perldoc esmith::config" on the command line.
