Topic: no domainname under windows

Hi there,

Does anyone know how to configure systems running Windows ME to use my domain name?

I'm using pimpelmees.nl as my domainname for my e-smithserver, but I can only acces it by the ip-adres... So instead of using http://www.pimpelmees.nl/webmail I have tot access my webmail by typing http://192.168.1.1/webmail

I've tried changing the hosts.sam-file by adding the line:

192.168.1.1 www.pimpelmees.nl

but that didn't work...

Try calling the file just hosts (no extension).  I don't use ME, but in 95 and 98, it just goes into c:\windows.
