Topic: More VPN

Hi
here it goes again:
Trying to print on a printer conected to my e-smith box from my home through a vpn connection  I receive an error...
"cant start print job."  I can locate and connect to the share but can't print at all.  
Looking messages file I could guess (can't use another word) it could be a problem with two things.... here is the first try:
...should it  be necesary to enable more pptp simultaneous connections in e-smith to allow the comunication with the printer? (not very smart guess but I will give it a chance)

the second one: maybe there are some ports disabled that are used for part of the protocols involved in vpn connection (I read somewhere that netbios names are transmited by different ports) I dont know If my printers are shared with netbios names.... will check it  (probably closer than the first guess..

What VPN softwares do you use to access your e-smith box?

As I'm in tests statge I use several softwares to do this:
Win2kpro win2k advanced server and Win ME (ms platform)
Linux: I will try to do something
