Did you read the e-smith manual and visit http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com to update your Microsoft Virtual Private Networking for Win98 to 128bit security?

It's a problem with windows.
I have had succesfull vpn connections between e-smith and win2k pro,   but with millenium or 98 se upgraded to 128 bit vpn encryption, I can't get into the e-smith box
The server response is a connection refused or something. probably is something related with the protocol or the way credentials are sent, but I dont know.
later i will post the exact message I receive in my millenium side

The patch you'll find on MS homepage is only for the US and Canada because of the export restrictions on crypto software in the PAST.

I found the patch on the ftp server of the TU-Berlin, don't have thje exact link by hand.
