Topic: Disk Drive Sizing

I just installed e-smith on a scratch box with a new 60gb Maxtor hard drive.  After the installation I checked the disk size and it formatted for only 30gb.  Is there size limitation during installation, or is there another override.

I did not use HDPARM, as it cause Xinetd errors on another test on a 30gb drive.

Can anyone help.

I've recently installed 4.1 on a 40 GB drive (in a Dell PowerEdge 300), and haven't had this problem.

Filesystem            Size  Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/hda6              36G  356M   34G   2% /
/dev/hda1              15M  5.1M  9.3M  35% /boot

This is using hdparm.
