hi,
the security fix of samba 2.0.7 is out - 2.0.9, will e-smith update its sdamba to 2.0.9 (still no win2000 domainlogins) or to 2.2?

Has anyone tried to update samba on e-smith to 2.2?

will it work?

Hi,

I did try to, install 2.2, and had problems, but I am not a linux wizard, I eventually got it to work, but still no win2000 domain logon, and now I have samba log rotation problem.

i will try it! i think samba is controled very easy by e-smith so it should work by customizing the smb.conf temlates...
