Hi,

I want setup e-smith to forward incoming request on the external IP to an internal IP :


INTIP=192.1.1.4
EXTIP=/sbin/e-smith/config get ExternalIP
ipmasqadm portfw -a -P tcp -L $EXTIP 80 -R $INTIP 80


But it doesn't work !  Why ?

I think it's the same probleme as Richard Buehler (cf http://forums.contribs.org/index.php?topic=10666.msg40261#msg40261
)

Je crois que viens de comprendre ...

les adresses internes doivent être dans les classes
10.0.0.0, 172.16.0.0 ou 192.168.0.0

Hi Touv,

Have you tryed 'e-smith-ipportfw' (0.1.1) as can be found among the modules ? It does just what you want. I use it to forward a port on the e-smith machine to a machine on the internal net.

Merci Franck, pour 2 choses :
- La premiere étant l'information concernant le forum français e-smith.
- La seconde concerne ton site ou j'ai trouvé plein d'infos sur l'ADSL. Grace a ton témoinage, je me suis lancé dans le changement de notre connexion ADSL, nous sommes passé de PPPtP / ATM en PPPoe/ethernet sur netissimo 2, malgré quelques déboires avec France Telecom, ça marche.
Juste un petit truc, avec la 4.1.1 e-smith j'avais un TIME OUT à la connexion et avec la 4.1.2 e-smith ça a marché du premier coups...
