Topic: changing standard FTP port

Did anybody ever try to change the standard FTP ports (20 en 21) to another port (clients whould have to use PASV then). When I enable FTP allot of ppl are trying to get on the FTP. Wondering if anybody got it working and would tell me how he/she did it?
