I have seen this issue come up several times but have not seen any responses on if it is possible and what file to modify.
I have setup several users and have given them access to certain ibays. The way E-smith is configured, it puts you into your personal user folder by default when you login. This gets really messy in that users must backup 2 folders and then go into the ibay directory and hunt around until they find a folder you have given them access to. (It also makes it impossible to use IE for an ftp client.)
I have tried to setup links to the shared folder within the user's home folders, but these are not functional through ftp.
I have setup the security I want on the folders, so security is not an issue.
I just want to lock people into the ftp folder ("ibay folder") only.
There must be a setup file for each user somewhere that you can set this, but I have not found it.
Does anyone here know how to do this?
