I wonder if anyone has set up an email to hylafax gateway.

There seems to be a number of howtos etc on the hylafax site but they are centered around sendmail.

I had a look but couldnt find what i was looking for.

At present i use Cypheus as my client. What i want to be able to do is

Email an attachment to the hylafax server (faxmail) and have it send that as a fax using the number in the subject line.

Have hylafax email me confirmation of what happened.

If you have a solution let me know. I am not really concerned with using this for myself but some of my larger customers want a nice simple solution that doesnt involve clients (ie mass faxing).

Well, Darrell (I think) has mentioned (in another thread)
this e-smith spin-off... and it has -installs- HylaFAX:

  http://www.axonlinux.org/

(It's apparently a spin-off of 4.1.2, now available in a
Preview Release, larger than 5.0)
