I just installed the beta2 release which seem to work fine (the first beta crashes and burned) I can connect to the server from my win box etc.
I have spent the whole sunday trying to establish an adsl connection. I used the guideline written by Hanscees but that didnt do the trick.
Is there anyone out there using e-smith and adsl (xs4all) ??
Any suggestions would be welcome. I managed to get a pptp up, I can ping my modem but if i ping a wan ip I get a 'network unreachable'...
ifconfig doesn't show a ppp0 dev. Only my eth0 an eth1 and the lo. Is it supposed to show a ppp0 dev?
And hanscees, if you are reading this:did you make the etc/adsl because in the beta it isnt there. May sound like a stupid question but i am trying to determine if you guide is of any use with the beta2:)
