Topic: NT won't print to shared printer on Parallel port

I've set up a dot matrix printer on my e-smith's parallel port (lp0). My 95/98 boxes can connect and print to it, but my NT machines refuse to do so. Even after installing the appropriate drivers when I print a test page I get an error message saying that the test page failed to print.

Has anyone seen this problem? Are there any special issues with sharing a printer on the e-smith's parallel port? How should NT be configured to use it? Any help is most appreciated.

I had this setup with an NT workstation, but now I have WIN2K.  The only thing that I did was to make sure that the e-smith and the NT/2K machines are in the same workgroup.  If using the netlogon rpm, then in the same domain.
