hi,

i have a little problem with the installation of the server.
i burnded the image to a cd and i can read it under windows, but i do not know how to create a bootable disk for linux.
mayby someone can help me to get the first steps to install the server.

i suggest you read the manual first before starting with the setup.. coz bootable disk aint just the you might encounter..

Not knowing about ISO files initially, I simply burned the *.ISO image to CD-ROM as a file.  This, obviously, failed.

After reading some FAQs in more detail, I learned that the *.ISO file is a CD image, similar to one you would make for a music CD.

Once I did a "create CD from ISO image", everything worked just fine.

Of course, your hardware also has to support booting from CD-ROM
