Topic: Setting up phpBB or Webcal

I have tried to set up both of these programs they work I get them installed.

On web cal I can use the open calendars but I cant login to admin or if I create a calandar that requries login at all it I cant login.

phpBB sets up great (after a few tries). But when I try to login to admin it wont accept my password. if I try to create a new user I get nothing.

I have looked around the boards but have not been able to find anything out.
Sorry if I missed a post but I have looked.

I installed both folloing the how-to's

is there some sort of .htpasswd file that takes over the ones installed with these programs.

Im running v 5 and i have installed the updates

Any help would be appreacated.

I installed both of these as well.  When I did I remember getting java errors when logging in but it still worked.  Is there anything in your logs that would suggest the problem.  I think they are in /etc/log  I dont have ssh on my work box to log in and check.

What are the specific errors?

I could not get it working in a iBay but it work great in a subdirectory of the primary
