launch program on boot as other user
« on: November 12, 2001, 12:19:19 PM »
Hi, this isnt really e-smith related but I have a feeling you guys could help me :)

I want to launch BitchX automatically when I boot the pc as another user in terminal 2 (alt f2)

How do I do that? The line's got to be at the end of /etc/rc/rc.local iirc. But how do I tell my e-smith to automatically login at 2nd terminal and launch BitchX?

thanks in advance
Jori

oh and btw, does anyone know how to fix this:
perl: warning: Setting locale failed.
perl: warning: Please check that your locale settings:
        LANGUAGE = (unset),
        LC_ALL = (unset),
        LANG = "en_US"
    are supported and installed on your system.
perl: warning: Falling back to the standard locale ("C").
My perl scripts do work but this wasnt a few days ago, if theres an easy way to fix it tell me :)
