Hi,
I have notice that my workstations that access the internet though my SMEv5 server has gotting slow. My server is connected by cable modem. The workstation is a k6-2 550mhz with 128mb ram.
I notice that when ever I fill out membership information on any site it would take forever to respond back to go to the next line. example I'll fill the first line "first Name" wait....
Sencond line "Last Name" wait...
Third line "Address" wait.......
It will take a long time.
I have looked in the logs an realy didn't see any thing that would tell me whats going on. I ran the top command and the server is running at 96% idle.
Any Suggestions what to check/test for?
