Transproxy and SME server 5

Transproxy and SME server 5

Has anyone experienced any problems with SME 5 running transproxy under heavy loads?  When Plugged into network, things seem sluggish; while plugged into switch before SME box, things run alot better.  Wondering if transproxy can't keep up?
