Topic: starting bootstrap-console

Hi,

ive installed several e-smith and sme servers for some friends and myself...
the last one ive tried to set up is stopping on "starting bootstrap-console"

as i dont even know what it is.. could somebody help??

I also have the same problem.  I performed an upgrade of SME 5.0 to 5.1.2 and after the system re-started it hangs at "starting bootstrap-console".  I thought it was a glitch in the upgrade so I performed a fresh install with the same result.  So I decided to load SME 5.1.2 on a completely different system and it as well hangs on "starting bootstrap-console".  I have also noticed that 5.1.2 is unable to load the usb driver reporting module dependancies.  If you prevent the bootstrap-console script from loading, the server does not boot.  Any suggestions on fixing this problem?
