editing php.ini will work if all you have is one website on your machine. otherwise you need to add a template to the /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf file - I haven't looked into what it takes yet, and every web site needs it's own auth key also. So you would need a manager panel to enter the auth key probably just an addition to the virtual domain panel.
