I have istalled postnuke on a SME 5.1
« on: March 07, 2002, 04:33:47 AM »
I have installed today the last postnuke on my SME 5.1.2 SME server.
I followed exactly the instructions of the J-L Boers's how to . I just only change the user name, database name and password. If I go to my main page everything is ok but when I try to go to the admin page, instead to show me the login page I see a legend "you don't have admin privilege".

Please somebody have any idea?

Thank you very much in advance!

Hi,

Thank you for your very much for your replay!
I already done that. The problem is that when I go to the admin page, this
page NEVER show me the " imput login and password" Menu! Instead of that
after a few seconds the page show me a legend saying that I dont have admin
privilege. I never have the oportunity to say to posnuke admin page who I
am!
Any suggestions?

What verions of Postnuke are you installing?  I tried a beta of the .71 build and had these same results.  .703 seems to work fine, as I am running it now in and ibay.

have you tried to log in through the login box in the main page?
If I remember correctly the lastest version od PostNuke has just 1 login box, while the older versions had a different login for the admin.

If you are using the "Rogue" version, then you need to login via the main page. then look at the "Main Menu" section and you should see a link named "Administration". If that does not work, try reinstalling PostNuke.
