Hi All,
I have a SME 5.1.2 server running for a while now with no problems till now.
I had to change my internal IP address from 192.168.xxx.yyy to 192.168.zzz.yyy (everything else -- no change). The server happily change the IP address, rebooted and came up again, no sweat.
However, since then, any ssh logins via Putty from a workstation has a delay of about 30 seconds from the time I type in the username (root or admin) till the password prompt appears. Prior to changing IP address, this would be almost immediate.
More importantly, Win98 workstations that log into the server (the server is set as Domain master) now also suffer a long login (ie. Enter password, hit Enter and wait up to 20 - 30 seconds before the login script runs). As before, this used to be immediate.
Anyone has any ideas why ? Any help greatly appreciated.
Kelvin
