Group E-Mail Addressing

Hi,

I was wondering . . .

Is there a way to have an email address that sends a message to each user in a group.

Say mygroup@mydomain.com so that a single mail will reach all ?

If the clients (OE) have delete msg from server' turned off how would msgs be
purged ?

Many Thanks

Graham

Graham,

If you created a group through the server manager and assigned the necessary user accounts to that group, SME automatically creates an e-mail alias for the group and mails addressed to the group name gets delivered to all members of the group.

Kelvin,

Thanks, I just read the help on alias' and pseudonyms'

I have account with an ISP.

They let me set up mailboxes like this

mychoice@myfixeddomain.com

I have several offices to set up that are in the same group
(ie myfixeddomain.com)

What is the easiest way do you think to set up the systems
and mailboxes so that I can distribute mail to individuals at
the individual offices and also to all at each office ?

Many Thanks !
