Problems trying to install the last blade.
« on: March 20, 2002, 04:06:44 AM »
Hi to all,

I have the following problem on my SME 5.1.2 trying to install the last blade. After y click in the install button, the licences panel appears ok. After I accept this, another pannel with some "progress bars" appears. Then I wait for more than 8 seconds (4 or 5 minutes) and the pannel is not updated so I press the especial link to update the information on the screen the following legend appears:

This seems a little lame -- why provide an update that you can't install?
I did install 5.1.2 as an upgrade - Anyone know anything?

I get the same thing.

I did do a manual install of all the packages when the blade was not functional for us unais customers.

I checked and all the various packages included in the U1 are indeed installed on my system.

I guess the blage just checks for packages to install and, when finding out they are already install, does not report the blade as installed.

Should this be for the blade developers at MITEL? Or is there something else at work here.

Serge.
