i am using cuteftp and trying to upload files to the primary folder for the main domain website. I am successfull in uploading files in the current dir. ie. cgi-bin,html , etc........ but if i want to add a folder it wont give me permissions. I even tried to add the folders in midnight commander then get access to them on the ftp but it wont let me write. Does anyone have any thoughts on this. I am logging in as admin on cute, tried to login as root with the admin password but was rejected
