Appletalk over tcp/ip is bust on the WAN

Dear All,
Appletalk over tcp/ip doesn't work over a WAN link with v5.12
I've tested with a single card in server only mode with a router port-fowarding on 548 and with two cards in server and gateway mode.
It worked fine in all the previous versions.
Anyone know how to depreciate the netatalk version?
or maybe update from it's current pre-release version to the current version (1.5.3 I think)
Help - all the companies I deal with are Mac based.
Thanks in advance.
Julian

I was experiencing troubles with AT too. I had a problem with server which was dropping connection every day for a few times. (And some macs had troubles to see server in chooser)
I just made a copy of /etc/atalk installed most current (based on RedHat) rpm, made new templates based on combination of new and old ones and run (all you do need to add are pwd modules if I remeber correctly). I was experiencing small troubles with 1.5.2 so I just downgraded to 1.5.1. 1.5.3 wasn't out yet in that time so I haven't tested that one yet. But 1.5.1 is working great, so I probably won't change to new one until something forces me.

matjaz - I can't find the 1.5.1 rpm anywhere - do you still have it by any chance. The trouble is that 1.5.3 is asking for an updated version of openssl which then bombs out a list of packages as long as my arm.
Also what do you mean by the pwd module?
All the best,
Julian

Hi,
I'm also installing the 1.5.2 rpm from rpmfind.net and received a list of dependency. Is it possible to publish the rpm matjaz used to update his server? I’m currently running a SME 5.0.
Thanks,
Peter
