Topic: accessing certain internet sites with version 5.1.2

I installed version 5.1.2 and use dial up.  I have no problems accessing most web sites, but some don't work and in hotmail I can't send mail.

Could anyone please tell me what I am doing wrong or what I can
do to get around this problem.  (I'm new at using Linux so can
you please make anyhelp easy to follow and understand.)

With your e-smith server out of the equation, ie, your windows(?) box connected straight to the net, do these problems still happen?
It sounds like a browser error more than anything. Is your browser javascript or cgi script enabled?
