How Secure is E-Smith

Okay I read just about all of the documentation and it says E-Smith 4.1 is
secure but being used to being behind a Firewall, I was wondering if the open
ports I just found while scanning a new e-smith installation are anything to
be worried about... ports 21, 25, 80, 113, 443, 3128 and 3306 the one that I
really am paranoid about is 3128, I do not want some bozo using my proxy to
to mask his IP and cause me problems, as for the security settings I set them
to private or no access under the security settings which if I am reading everything
correctly will only allow access from users on my local network, one thing I was
also wondering about what protects the E-Smith from IP Spoofing attempts??
