We switched our internet access from dial-up to a dedicated line. I changed the e-smith server (4.1.2) to being a server only, instead of a server and gateway. The server and router both plug into a hub. I can access the e-smith server for webmail, etc. just fine, as well as VPN connections.
The problem is that now with the VPN connection, I can only access the e-smith server, and not the rest of the lan.
Would turning the server back into a gateway, and plugging the router directly into a second network card, bypassing the hub solve the problem, or is there something else I should do?
