Topic: Internal DNS not working

Since upgrading from e-smith 4.0 to 4.1.1 internal DNS is not working...or at least only partially functioning.  The e-smith DOES continue to resolve external hosts properly however it now longer resolves internal addresses.  For instance, mail.e-smith.geekden.org used to resolve.  It no longer does...although if I go to Configuration|Hostnames and addresses the aliases are showing up.

Can anyone tell me what might be wrong?
