I dit the complete step by step upgrade procedure...
first upgrading php to 4.1.2 and then upgrading imp.
my webmail is working just fine as far as I have tested it....
....but I've got these errors in the RPM installation progress of IMP upgrade:
-----> rpm -Uvh *

4:imp ########################################### [ 57%]

error: cannot remove /home/httpd/html/horde/imp/SSLonly - directory not empty

ERROR 1061 at line 74: Duplicate key name 'category_category_name_idx'
loading /etc/e-smith/sql/init/S10turba_sql_create into mysql

Any Clues? is this Important?

Ale, those errors look normal; nothing to worry about.

Dear Dan,
dear everybody,
I am running SME 5.1.2 on P166, 64 MB RAM, 40 GB HD,
patch Update1 applied (using the blade).
My desire then was to update IMP from 2.2.7 onto 3.x and I followed the update howto on Dans server (
http://www.familybrown.org/howtos/
) but my installation of IMP didnt work after doing that.
I have done the following:
#1 upgrade PHP according to
http://www.familybrown.org/howtos/php-upgrade-howto-sme512.html
#2 upgrade horde, imp aoccording to
http://www.familybrown.org/howtos/imp-upgrade.html
I didnt get any errors expect the ones that I expected, but the
effect was that calling
https://myserver/webmail
or same with http://
resulted into an empty page.
I removed the packages from the update again, and reinstalled the
packages
ftp://ftp.e-smith.org/pub/e-smith/updates/5.0/Update4/RPMS/horde-1.2.7-1es.noarch.rpm
ftp://ftp.e-smith.org/pub/e-smith/updates/5.0/Update4/RPMS/horde-mysql-1.2.7-1es.noarch.rpm
ftp://ftp.e-smith.org/pub/e-smith/updates/5.0/Update4/RPMS/imp-2.2.7-02es.noarch.rpm
Now IMP is back to work, but I am confused what went wrong.
Any idea?
Greets, rené
