password changing for users
« on: May 22, 2002, 03:03:14 AM »
hi all,
im looking for this howto from the contributed howto list:
"How to implement a user manager panel for e-mail forwarding, procmail, password-changing"

it's not accessible at the moment. or is there an other way that users
can change their passwords (samba password) and create fetchmail entries?

tia and regards

hi

change passwords with http:///user-password

http://www.myezserver.com/downloads/mitel/contrib/user-manager/

for darrels user-manager  - be careful - letting users have control of mail forwarding will be a disastor if they create loops (my mail gets forwarded to you which gets forwarded to me which gets...)

no this will not happen
SME and qmail are more robust than this [see below]

you may be able to create loops but the user has to be more creative
