I have a problem. I wasn't aware of the 4.0 Gg limit of Taper. I have used Taper quite often and it seems to work. However, it is just recently I noticed that there's a bug with Taper in handling archives of 4.0 Gg.
Could someone please clarify to me exactly what happens if you try to backup more that 4.0 Gg of data?
The backups go trough no problem, but I need to restore a file now. When I try to restore the file (outlook.pst - size ~86Mb), the file it restores is a fraction of the size or of size 0.
What can I do??? Is there another way I could extract the data from the tape?? The index file says the file is the correct size.
Anyone's help is greatly appreciated!.
