Topic: Bootstrap console hang

I have upgraded my e-smith box, and now on bootup it is hanging on the Boot-Strap console.  I saw a workaround on the website, but it says to boot into single user mode.  How do you boot into single user mode??  Has anyone else had this problem and eventually got their server to boot normally?

To boot into single user mode:

When booting you should see the Mitel or E-Smith logo, hit "CTRL-X".
You will then see a prompt saying "boot:"
Type in "esmith single".
