I have been running V5 with blades4. I have quite a few 'addons' i.e. Myphpnuke, Phorum, ACID with Snort, Squid, Phprojekt, Gallery, and others.
I have recently (I cannot definitavely come up with when it started) been without any 'mail' function, nothing in or out. It DID work at ~the first of the year. Anyway I really need it with the recent addition of my personal and business web site being hosted on my e-smith.
What would be the opinion of some who know of whether I would gain any advantage (and possible 'fix' my mail) by Upgrading to 5.1.2?
As far as the mail function, I could copy /var/log/messages (in another post or by email) or other pertinent logs and, if someone was willing, get an idea of what in my e-smith is broken. No errors are present when mail is sent through whatever means. In fact it always says it has been sent successfully. I connect through ATT, with my e-smith in server-gateway. As I said, mail *did* work. I have DHCP in my local network (disabled externally). Either a package I have installed or an option I have changed has disabled the thing. My mail server is either mail.attbi.com, or 216.148.227.71. My business site is
