FUD DEPARTMENT at work.

DISCLAIMER: Just to reassure everyone. I have a brother named Doug but he is retired ;->

I ran across this 6 month old article "Microsoft's surgical strike team headed by Doug Miller".

http://www.zdnet.com/zdnn/stories/news/0,4586,2625169,00.html

 This line struck me funny.

"One thing that's missing with Linux," Miller continued, "is it's not customer-focused enough. In all of these new alliances we've seen in recent months, where is the customer?"

I have never found a software company that has the customer dedication and focus that e-smith demonstrates continously on these forums.  If anyone from Microsoft is following this, could you please clarify Doug Miller's comment?

Best Regards,
Paul Miller

In response to your request, our customer service team is working feverishly to find someone from Microsoft who is following this...

:)

Thanks for the supportive words. We have a huge binder that nice comments like this gets filed into [TRUE] and on rainy days we read them. :)

The e-smith people give great customer support to people WHO AREN'T EVEN THEIR CUSTOMERS!  Man, can you imagine the treatment the paying folks get?  They probably fly someone out just to give you a back massage while you talk to their customer support team over the telephone to guide you through setting up your email server.

Wish I had the bucks.
