Topic: LDAP authentication credentials for JNDI Binding

I am using the SME Directory as the source for a Java Application.  I am connecting to the LDAP server through JNDI.  I can connect anon for browsing but have not been able to bind to the server for so that I can make remote updates to the directory.

Is there a setting in the e-smith server that would let me do this?  What security credentials I use to authenticate?
