The latest version of twiggi is sweet.  Followed the instructions here: http://www.neddix.de/twiggi-gw  and it "seems" to work perfectly.  Latest version 1.10.3 located here: http://www.neddix.de/twiggi-gw

Thanks.  Actually that is for our GPL release.  Our commercial release for SME server is at 1.10.7.

BTW, all Twiggi posts should be directed to the appropriate forums of course.

For GPL go here:

http://sourceforge.net/projects/twiggi/

For our commercial release, go here:

I thought I'd give the twiggi a try using the GPL.  It seems to work great.  I really like the new look.  I posted on this board since I was referring to the GPL version.

How can there be separate GPL and commercial versions? Since twiggi is derived from the GPL twig program, then all changes to twig/twiggi must be available licensed under the GPL.

The support added is how it's commercial.  I would like to get my hands on 1.10.7 without the cost though.  Especially in rpm form :)

No, that is a separate issue.

All you need to do is ask.

That's a less obvious issue.

If we only need to ask, consider me the askerer type person.  Darrell could you make the rpm available to us.

Thanks

As Darrell said his rpm is a commercial release you have to buy it!

Darrell isn't in a position to enforce that decision. He and Michael took a copyright package called twig, and made modifications to it, and called their modified version twiggi. They were permitted to do that under a license given to them by the copyright holders of twig, as long as they fulfilled a number of conditions. One of those conditions was that they make the source code available of any modified version which they distribute. Under this condition, they must provide the source code of the latest version that they are distributing to "any third party".

That said, there's no use for people to post requests here. Make your requests directly to Darrell.

I see on Darrells forums that he states his latest version is a comercial release only - can this be done? is there anything that can be done to get the latest code?
