hdparm Help
« on: July 15, 2002, 09:37:24 AM »
Got myself in a fix. while setting hdparm by ssh on a new server with 5.5, I somehow managed to use the ip address of my production 4.12 server. ( Trouble using same logins and not paying attention) At any rate the 4.12 server runs on some older hardware and hdparm is not supported I guess as the server now hangs on boot when starting hdparm.

Not being a linux gru, can someone tell me how to solve this problem. Is there any way to stop and command line before going to non interactive to change this during boot?  Right now I am locked out of the machine.

Help please....

thanks.
Daniel
