I have a XP computer in a e-smith network, and every time I try to print (lexmark 1020 color) any document, it ends up in the spool. It tells me that the printer is ready, and it is about to print, but nothing happends!!!!!  why? does some one have a guide or somthing, can't find any topics that have a solution for my problem. Please help!!

perhaps because the Lexmark traditionally is a Win-printer... irrespective that it is connected on the Parallel port... you could try loading the CUPS daemon instead of LPr and then see if there are Lexmark backends for the printer in question...
