Just a suggestion. Why don't you incorporate this forum into the release so that you can out of the box have a phorum board.

Have you got Phorum running on an E-Smith box, or did you have to put it on another server?

Now that e-smith includes PHP and MySQL (as of version 4.1), Phorum should be plug and play into an e-smith system.  It's not difficult to install, but there are some security-related decisions to be made during the process.  These are pretty well documented in the security.txt file that comes with phorum.
