We have a Esmith box with a few virtual domains setup. 5 or six
There are users that are uniquely named on the server. 20 -25
The problem is that some of the virtual domains will have a 30 second delay before the user will be authenticated into the mail server, Others work fine. This anomally is consistent.
Webmail works fine for all. (immediate authentication)
This is all happening on Ver 512
Any guesses what could be causing the problem and how it might be fixed.
BTW
I have moved the users to an NT box using SLMail and all works just fine, so I figure the MX record is fine in the DNS records on our two dns server (bind8 on a Freesco box) is OK.
