I forced the update to install. Quark never failed in about 30 minutes of attempting to get errors as I normally do. However - obviously this brute install broke a LOT of things. Basically, I now have one wide open share to this test machine.
I am not knowledgable enough to create my own RPM that will do this elegantly. I hope that knowing it works well (in my realworld tests) will promp someone to spend some time on it. Better yet - a Netatalk update blade would be SWEET.
