I am trying to install e-smith (5.1.2 or 5.5) on an old laptop that does not have a CDROM any more. I first tried the bootnet.img but that doesn't recognise my pcmcia card, then I tried the pcmcia.img which does recognise my pcmcia card, but when it mounts the NFS exported ISO image from my work station I get the following error: 'That directory does not seem to contain a Mitel Networks installation tree'. I have tried almost every directory in the ISO image, but nothing seems to work. Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong? Should I edit anything on the disk to make it find the right directory? What is it looking for anyway?
The pcmcia.img I used is from the 5.1.2 ISO, I have exported both the 5.1.2 and the 5.5 ISOs, but neither works. I can see in the logs that it actually mounts the correct directory, but I don't understand what is going on. Looking at consoles 3 and 4 on the laptop does not help me either, 3 just says it is mounting the directory and 4 doesn't say anything at all.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
